Mark G. Tusa, M.D., F.A.A.D.

Dr. Mark Tusa received his Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy and Agricultural Business from Murray State University in 1998. He attended Finch University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School and graduated in 2004. In 2005, Dr. Tusa completed his Internship in Internal Medicine at East Tennessee State University’s James Quillen College of Medicine.

After completing his Internal Medicine internship, Dr. Tusa went to Wake Forest University and completed a year of dermatology research with Dr. Steven Feldman. This research focused on medication adherence in dermatology. Once he completed his time at Wake Forest, Dr. Tusa went to Texas A&M College of Medicine. His dermatology residency was done at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas, which is where all residency programs for Texas A&M were based at that time.

Once he completed his residency, Dr. Tusa became an Assistant Professor in Dermatology at Scott and White Clinics in Temple, Texas and Waco, Texas. He served in this capacity from July 2009 until March 2013. In April of 2013, Dr. Tusa joined the team at Chattanooga Skin and Cancer Clinic.

Dr. Tusa is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. When not caring for patients or continuing to learn about the changes and advancements in dermatology, Dr. Tusa enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.
