Join us in welcoming Dr. Aashish Taneja to Chattanooga and our Chattanooga Skin and Cancer Clinic. He joined CSCC after hearing of our search for additional highly qualified dermatologists from his medical school colleague and our own Dr. Mark Tusa.

Dr. Taneja was born in Chicago. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois and his dermatology medical training at the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franking University. His residency was at several mid-west hospital medical schools including one with the Veterans Administration. His education has also taken him for stints in South Korea and Hungary. He now has 20 years of experience.

Dr. Taneja says that he likes dermatology as a specialty because it gives him the opportunity to help so many people with such varied needs. He recognizes how important healthy looking skin can be for individual self-esteem. Patients have commented on his willingness to listen, his compassion, and his ability to make them feel at ease.

Dr. Taneja likes walks in nature so he will be right at home in East Tennessee. Dr. Taneja likes to read, often focusing on spiritual and self help books. And if you’re a cat person, be sure to ask about is feline, Sid. We’ve also heard that he can be tough at the billiards table.
